GTB Bahntechnik GmbH produces and supplies
components and systems for the train protection system
PZB / INDUSI - an inductive point protection system
working with three frequencies: 500, 1000 and 2000 Hz.
The product range of GTB covers the entire range of
equipment for PZB / INDUSI track systems. For the locomotives
we supply vehicle magnets and special spare parts for
the onboard systems. The products of GTB are installed
on all tracks of DB AG and to an extent beyond the German
border in other European countries. All components and
pieces of equipment are approved for serial production
by the EBA (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt -Federal Railway Office).
Since 1984 Treuenbrietzen has been the location for
the production of components and equipment for the train
protection system PZB / INDUSI.
GTB has a certified quality management system (according
to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000) and a certified environmental
management (according to DIN EN ISO 14001:1996). As
supplier for DB AG we have the highest quality status
of Q1.
Since we have been cooperating with DB AG for more than
20 years we are well acquainted with the requirements
and regulations of railway companies. Apart from DB
AG our main customers are Alcatel SEL, Siemens and Bombardier.
Among our other regular customers are small and medium
sized railway building companies which provide services
for DB AG or the system suppliers and private railways.
GTB also provides planning and design services.
As provider of development services GTB uses its know-how
in railway technology for the benefit of its customers.
